Contact Klean Graphene

Klean Graphene supplies graphene-like structures, carbon nanotubes and fullerenes produced from waste tires and scrap rubber.

Nanocarbon enquiries are handled by the Klean Industries technical team. The fastest route to a useful answer is to tell us what the material has to do, because grade selection — not material family — is what decides whether a programme works.

What to include in your enquiry

What you get back

A grade recommendation with the supporting specification, dispersion and handling guidance, available quantities against current capacity, and commercial terms. Full-scale production capability stands at approximately 7,000 tonnes per annum of nano-recovered carbon black and 700 tonnes per annum of carbon nanotubes, so volume questions can be answered concretely rather than aspirationally.

Project enquiries

If the requirement is capacity rather than material — a waste tire or scrap rubber stream you want converted into nanocarbons — the same contact route reaches the project engineering side. Klean Industries carries out feasibility studies and delivers turn-key projects, and that work begins with feedstock characterisation, not with equipment selection.

Response times and scope

Enquiries are answered by engineers rather than a call centre, so the reply addresses the technical question that was actually asked. Confidential development programmes are routine in this field; non-disclosure arrangements can be put in place before detailed specifications or derivative chemistry are discussed.

Background

The carbonisation and fullerene purification processes behind these materials were developed in collaboration with Mitsubishi Corporation from the late 1980s through the 1990s, and proven through a joint pilot in Japan that started at 0.4 tonnes per annum in 2000 before scaling to process roughly 2,500,000 used tires per year.

Tell us what the nanocarbon has to do

Send the application, the grade family and the volume, and you will get a grade recommendation with specifications and terms.
